A PEEK BEHIND THE FLAG-COUNTER!

The flag counter in the side-bar is a fairly recent addition to the TrailSpots scene.   So our main visitor-counter will reflect a lot more than the flag-counter visitors.

Just in case some of you might be wondering ... several projects are afoot!   But our viewers are still coming because there is a lot to see here.  The usual pace will pick up again very soon!

FYI ... Once a visitor from a county checks out our page their country's flag will show up on the counter.  Unfortunately in our case, it's only one flag per county.  However, that might change as views increase!

A peek behind the scenes tells us that at this time our newest viewers have come from Costa Rica and Slovakia!   This will change very quickly as more visitors check in and our community grows!
So without further ado, we post two flags and send out a great big ...
WELCOME TO TRAILSPOTS!!

Flag of Costa Rica

Costa Rica is a rugged, rain-forested Central American country with coastlines on the Caribbean and Pacific. Though its capital, San Jose, is home to cultural institutions like the Pre-Columbian Gold Museum, Costa Rica is known for its beaches, volcanoes and immense biodiversity. Roughly a quarter of its area is made up of protected jungle, rich with wildlife including spider monkeys and quetzal birds.
Flag of Slovakia

Slovakia is a central European country known for its dramatic natural landscape and many castles. Near the Austrian border, capital city Bratislava features a pedestrian-only Old Town with a lively cafe scene. Rising on a hill above the Danube River, Bratislava Castle houses a branch of the Slovak National Museum, with displays from Roman artifacts to 20th-century arts and crafts.
