A TRAIL IS A TRAIL!

Actually, we were on the way to Arouca to pick up new wheels for the 'trail-mobile' at 'RaceTrac'!

But it's really a challenge to be on the east-west highway and not catch a couple of pics on the way.
This time the mission was different, but a trail is a trail ... so even though we were moving faster than usual, we 'piced' a few shots along the Churchill Roosevelt Highway, heading east and, as usual, we share the spots!

We're still in the dry season in the Caribbean, which is also the hot and breezy kite flying season.
Several kite sellers were showing off some colorful beauties at the highway intersections.   Check out the two that we had stopped long enough to catch pis!

A quick stop at the Centre of Excellence in Macoya (caught some real sunshine there!).  Another spin by the ever-expanding Trincity Mall.  Then off we went to get those 'trail wheels' in Arouca, before heading back to the south-land for a late lunch at a curryque fund raiser!

Eight cinemas at the Trincity Mall!  Wow!

Shops, shops and more shops!

Finally ...  inside 'RaceTrac', Arouca, choosing wheels for the trail-mobile!

Four plates to go!

After all ... a trail is a trail!  Enjoy the quick spin!
Wish we could really share the curryque too!

PAUSE FOR PIC ...WATER-WORKS!

Chet is my aqua-aerobics instructor (ball of expert energy!)

First, it's all smiles ... then the water work-out wakes up sleepy muscles, lots of resistance, sweat, jokes, more reps., great music for a sweet cool-down, applause!

The sore muscles eventually calm down ... then we come back for more in a few days! Oh, the weight and wonder of water!

Take a look at Chetwayo's Fitness Enterprise @https://www.facebook.com/ChetwayosAquaAerobicsAquaFitness… and pay a visit if you get to south Trinidad!

POST FROM THE PAST: RE-VISITING INDIAN CAVE, MIDDLE CAICOS, TURKS & CAICOS ISLANDS

Cover photo:  On my way to Indian Cave, Middle Caicos, on the North Caicos Ferry.

Here's a super post from the past ... just the pics, not the poem!

All photos were taken by R. Gabriel for the original post @ http://www.trailspots.com/2013/01/indian-cave-middle-caicos-turks-and.html

The poem entitled 'The Cave' that was inspired by a visit to the cave and was written by Kathy Gabriel Gill (2012).  It can be located on the 'Writing into Wellness ...' blog @ http://spatrail.blogspot.com/2012/09/walk-on-words-13-cave-by-kathy-g-gill.html

Click on over!  Have another look!  Try to imagine that these caves might well have been under water hundreds of years ago!

Indian Cave, I believe, is worthy of several visits.

I shall return ...

Indian Cave ... with its rustic surroundings, filled with mystery and ancient energy.
